It's finally December, which means it's Christmas. We put our tree up last Sunday, the Christmas-lights in town are lit and Christmas-songs are playing on the radio.
One of the best parts of December have to be the multiple Christmas-markets in every city. Last Saturday my boyfriend and I spent the day in Lille, a french city just across the border, enjoying a lovely sunny winterday/evening. We spent the day wandering around the city and of course doing some shopping and when the night fell we had Glühwein, roasted chestnuts and crepes with Nutella whilst strolling through the Christmas-market.
The key for spending an entire day outside is layering, because it may be sunny and reasonably warm during the day but when the sun goes down it can get quit chilly, add in rain and you'll be needing to stay warm. So I paired my all-time favorite jumper with this long shirt I got from Zara a while ago.
Add to that a pair of comfy boots for walking around all day, a scarf and coat and you're ready for spending the day outdoors. Oh and don't forget to throw a hat and gloves in your bag for when it gets really cold!
